Zauner Romania

Our strong partner for international projects.

Zauner Romania S.R.L.

Company
Since the foundation in 2003, Zauner Romania has been part of our company family and has enriched and completed our portfolio at an impressive level.
With over 350 employees at two locations, Zauner Romania is now one of the largest and most successful industrial plant construction companies in the country. However, it is not only these figures that speak for themselves, but above all the many high-quality projects from the energy sector to the oil industry. With a focus on precise prefabrication away from the construction site and excellently trained teams, our Romanian colleagues support us in many of our international projects.
Satu Mare
In 2022, Zauner Romania embarked on a major investment, commissioning a new state-of-the-art production hall. Spanning over 15,000 square meters, this cutting-edge facility encompasses advanced production, storage, and transshipment areas.
With this new production site, the entire ZAUNERGROUP is gaining - both quantitatively and qualitatively. Quantitatively, because it has created enough capacity to process major projects throughout Europe. Qualitatively, because it has enabled us to increase our efficiency and speed even further. In addition to the prefabrication of pipelines themselves, the site also focuses on modular pipe racks. Of course, a higher degree of prefabrication also means shorter lead times on the construction site - and our customers really appreciate that.
Latest developments
Progress continues. In other words, the construction work to expand the site in Satu Mare is in full swing in order to keep our capacities fit for the future. Are you interested in what exactly is happening and where we currently stand? You can find regular updates on developments in our news.

Welding School

Training center
We know that the quality of our work depends on the qualification of our employees. That’s why Zauner Romania opened its own training centre in 2009.
In regular training sessions, local workers are trained to become highly qualified welders and pipefitters. Intensive training at an international level is provided in WIG welding (141) for carbon and stainless steel. Our fitter training includes both standard and custom pipe assembly techniques, ensuring precision and adaptability. We also focus on the orbital welding process and offer special advanced training courses in this area to further improve quality, efficiency, and safety.
orbital Welding
Orbital welding is a specialized process in which an automated system is used to produce particularly high-quality, uniform welds on cylindrical objects. The pipes, hoses, and fittings thus connected are mainly used in future-oriented industries such as aerospace and semiconductor manufacturing – but also in the pharmaceutical and food and beverage industries.
